Musa Mandella (Plane Gang) Drops Energetic and Versatile EP “Now You See

Chicago, IL – February 4, 2024 – Musa Mandella, the dynamic hip-hop artist from the west side of Chicago, in collaboration with F1RST CLASS EVERYTHING, is thrilled to announce the release of his latest EP, “Now You See”. Featuring collaborations with artists Ssennobe and Denzel, and the skilled engineering of Gabe on the track, this EP is set to resonate with fans of Drake, Outkast, and Travis Scott.

Mandella’s new EP showcases his unique style and profound lyricism, particularly evident in the track “Bottom Line,” where he proclaims, “Young Bishop with the Steel see me dripping Juice.” This line encapsulates Mandella’s ability to blend contemporary slang with nods to cultural icons, positioning himself as a modern-day Tupac in a drill music era.

“Now You See” represents more than just a collection of songs; it’s a testament to the brand and ethos of Plane Gang, co-founded with Toronto-based artist Ssennobe. The EP is a vibrant mix of fun and energy, bringing out the listeners’ dance and romantic sides in tracks like “Better Days” and the titular “Now You See”. Following the success of his previous release “Manifestation”, this EP symbolizes the tangible realization of Musa Mandella’s dedication and craft.

Born and raised amidst the challenging terrains of Holy City and The Kedvale Square, Mandella’s music is a vivid portrayal of these environments, weaving narratives of endurance, hope, and the stark realities of urban life. His journey, marked by resilience in adversity, is profoundly influenced by the legendary Lil Wayne, echoing a commitment to versatility and creativity.

This EP’s production was as spontaneous as it was creative, with each track being a display of raw talent, forged through fun times in the studio. Following the success of “Da Passout Deluxe Edition”, released in memory of his mother on November 30, 2023, “Now You See” is set to be another significant milestone in Mandella’s career.

Fans can also look forward to Mandella’s upcoming single, “Since My Mama Had Me”, set to release on February 16, 2024.
